HISTORY

Pastors S.W. and Sandra Burns are pastors of the Life Changers World Outreach Center Church International of Tyler, Texas and natives of Shreveport and Monroe Louisiana. They are under the spiritual covering of Dr. Rick V. and Barbara Layton, Pastors of the Word of Faith Church International of Shreveport Louisiana, an affiliate ministry of Dr. Creflo & Taffi Dollar of World Changers Church International in College Park, Georgia. Life Changers Church started in August of 1997 at the Sheraton Hotel on South Broadway, in Tyler Texas. Within a short period of time, the church relocated and purchased a former night club on Dingler Road, converting it to a power-packed, spirit-filled ministry. Due to the continued growth, we recently moved from that location and purchased a 12,000 + sq. foot building with 20 acres of land which is presently being reconstructed into the "Life Center ". As the vision unfolds, there will be every facet of ministry available to meet the needs of the people. Everyone is invited to come experience the burden removing, yoke destroying, power of God and we guarantee that your life will never be the same.

VISION

The vision of this ministry is to cause a change in the lives of people through the prophetic preaching of the anointed word of God, and to 'Make ready a people prepared for the coming of the Lord.' We declare to Tyler, East Texas, and the world, that Jesus is Alive, Jesus is Lord & Jesus IS our Soon Coming KING!

OUR PURPOSE

Life Changers church is a spirit-filled, non-denominational, multi-cultural church in East Texas, with the prophetic purpose to "Make Ready A People prepared for the Lord". We will do this by using the 20 acres of land to build the "Life Restoration Center that will meet the spiritual and physical needs of East Texas and throughout the world.The future vision of the Life Center for the 20 -acres is:
Lifeline 24 - hour International prayer center
Drug rehabilitation center
Prison rehabilitation center with residency
Women crisis center with residency
Lifeline Restoration Center (Community Outreach and Development Center)
Ministry for Single Moms support
"Project Changed Life Youth Rehabilitation and Development
And various other national and international outreaches

WE BELIEVE


…Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He was crucified, died and buried.  On the third day He rose from the dead and ascended into Heaven, where He remains at the right hand of God Almighty.
…after death eternal life begins either in heaven or Hell.  Where you spend eternity is based on your decision to live according to God’s Word (The Bible) or rebel against it.
…when the rapture occurs, the dead in Christ will rise first and those who are alive and remain will be caught up to meet Jesus in the air.…the Bible is the written and inspired Word of God.
…faith is acting on the Word of God.
…in water baptism, in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
…in the indwelling of, and baptism in, the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Holy tongues, and operating in the gifts of the Spirit. …in the power and authority in the name of Jesus.
…in DIVINE HEALING (restoration of health) to those who believe and act on the truths written in God’s word.  We further believe that Jesus is our healer, and that by His stripes we are already healed.
…TITHES and OFFERING should be freely given to your local church.  The local church is the place of membership where God has called you to receive His word on a consistent basis while growing spiritually.
…in giving alms to the poor, sick, homeless and others who are in need.
